    To assist local users with day to day issues such as minor network issues, cable replacements, and computer and phone usage.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Monitoring IT Ticket System % of work time 12.5
    • Completing Tickets Assigned                        % of work time 37.5 - 62.5
    • Maintaining Printer Ink Stock % of work time 12.5
    • Maintaining Equipment Inventory




    Physical Responsibilities

    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming help requests and issues related to Computer Systems, Phones, Printers, Software, and Hardware.
    • Respond to help requests either in person, email or over the phone.
    • Write training manuals.
    • Train computer users.
    • Maintain daily performance of computer systems, phones & printers
    • Respond to email messages for employees seeking help.
    • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
    • Walk employee through problem-solving process.
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Clean up computers.
    • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
    • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
    • Install computer peripherals for users.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory of computers, printers and mobile devices.
    • Follow up with employees to ensure issue has been resolved
    • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
    • Report to and Perform all task assigned by the Director of IT Services\Network Administrator

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills:

    • Associates Degree in Information Technology
    • Comp Tia
    • A+ (&) Net + Certification or Equivalent
    • Ability to communicate clearly
    • Ability to follow through promptly with direct supervisor
    • Goal/target-oriented
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to work independently or with a team
    • Highly organized
    • Ability to follow direction as instructed and follow through on tasks assigned
    • Possess a positive attitude

     

    Desirable Skills:

    • Basic and Advanced Computer, Mobile Device and Network troubleshooting,
    • Windows operating system 7-10 Mac OS
    • 2+ year of experience
