The human resource assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. Position supports the Human Resources Director and Department.
Responsible for employment process including Offer Letters, scheduling Pre-Employment Drug Screens, Background Checks and other necessary steps of the hiring process. Ensures Primary Source is verified as required by position.
Prepares and sends out all offer letters in a timely manner including benefit information, costs and non-compete agreements. Responsible for follow up to ensure timely response.
Responsible for On-Boarding, including notification to new hire and the hiring manager of the date, time and location. Includes preparing Agenda, reserving conference room and preparation of all materials. Answers phones for the HR department.
ID Badge System - Creates ID Badge for all new hires as well as changes for current staff.
Maintains compliant Personnel Files at all time to meet Joint Commission and/or other regulatory requirements.
Responsible for I-9 Forms to receive during required time and maintain up to date files/binders for current and/or prior employees.
Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status in a timely manner and keeps copy for personnel file.
Supports the HR Director/Department with Excel Reports and tracking information.
Must have Associates Degree with 3 years HR experience or High School Diploma with 4-6 years HR experience. Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
