  • Overview

    Intake coordinators are responsible for coordinating all aspects of the admission process for inpatient

    rehabilitation by assessing and screening potential candidates. They also provide educational information

    regarding the Delphi Health Group treatment programs to interested groups and individuals.



    • Respond immediately to telephone inquiries concerning potential client admissions
    • Enter ALL potential clients into Salesforce CRM
    • Gather all required client demographics including insurance information or private pay information
    • Complete pre-admission assessment with potential clients
    • Coordinate admissions based on bed availability and arrange transportation to the facility
    • Understand how insurance pertains to substance abuse/chemical dependency and mental health and be able to communicate that to clients
    • Follow-up on all active opportunities on a daily basis and notate in Salesforce CRM
    • Communicate effectively with immediate managers during pre-admissions process
    • Work as part of a team by helping other intake coordinators on an as needed basis
    • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for clients in all interactions
    • Understand and abide by HIPPA rules and regulations

    • Proper handling of calls to help with marketing objectives
    • Make sure that client and/or family fully understand treatment details and financial responsibility
    • Help keep the Delphi Health Group Network of facilities to maximum occupancy while also providing

    quality patient/family care through admissions process
