To provide compassionate care to individuals suffering from addiction and/or mental health issues. The provider will provide direct care to all clients served. In addition to direct client care, the provider will provide oversight and supervision to APRN, RN’s and/or LPN’s.
The candidate will be responsible for completing Initial Psychiatric Evaluations (IPE) and when necessary, History and Physicals (H&P’s) on clients admitted to our programs, including Detox, Residential, Partial Hospital, and Intensive Outpatient. Individuals served including those coming to treatment for substance use and/or mental illness. The candidate will be expected to provide coverage to various facilities as a fulltime employee. The job requires the candidate to be able to round in the mornings and afternoons. The candidate also may be asked to do administrative duties as assigned in addition to direct client care.
Board Certified in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine. The candidate will have experience completing psychiatric evaluations and history and physicals. The candidate must have a valid Florida License. Excellent communication, language and interpersonal skills, verbal and written in English are required. Knowledge of and experience with computers including Microsoft Windows or a similar operating system. Knowledge and experience with EMR desired but not required.
