General Purpose of the Position:


To efficiently support the Business Development team, manage and develop relationship with referents and contribute to Admissions Department goals.





  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport with referral sources.
  • Continue to build a base of knowledge of what each treatment facility offers.
  • Understand how insurance pertains to substance abuse/chemical dependency and mental health
  • Successfully convert incoming business development leads into admissions
  • Utilize the CRM to track pending leads to ensure prompt follow up.
  • Utilize sales training to convert patients with little to no resources into admissions.
  • Communicate effectively with immediate supervisor during pre-admissions process
  • Work as part of a team by helping other intake coordinators on an as needed basis
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect for clients in all interactions
  • Understand and abide by HIPPA rules and regulations


Performance Objectives:


  • Ensure timely processing of intake information and documentation
  • Help keep the Delphi Health Group facilities to maximum occupancy while also providing quality patient/family care through admissions process
  • Ensure that client and/or family fully understand treatment details and financial responsibility
  • Successfully maintain the relationships of Delphi with the BD referral sources
  • Meet or exceed monthly admission goals

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in substance abuse treatment center in a sales role.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish). Other languages a strong plus
